Thank You, Blog! :)

Remember couple of months ago, there was this controversial posting of Nila Tanzil on Malaysian Tourism Board (MTB)? In the posting Nila Tanzil described her impression on MTB during her visit there as she was invited as a presenter for a program in a leading indonesian TV station. She described in a friendly way how her visit was not as expected and aparently her review on the blog did not make the Minister of Tourism of Malaysia happy. I forgot the detail of the whole story but at the end he made many bloggers angry as he accused that all bloggers are liars and most of bloggers are unemployed women. What a drama.

Anyway, let's just conclude that blogosphere can not be underestimated. It is heard. It gets reaction from a minister from other country. And now in my case, it connects people.. :) Thanks to my silly blog, I was found by some indonesians live here in Luanda. And I just found out that there are at least 120 indonesians live here in the city. Quite a number isn't it..?!

Couple of weeks ago, Marthijn and I were invited to the house of one of the guys.. Liked it a lot, we had the most delicious food I haven't had for months, and we did karaoke until 3am in the morning, haha. Thanks Aris, for the invitation.

So lessson learned: keep on blogging! :D
