Today, again, demonstration near the office. Was planning on doing something very important outside the office and it needs to be cancelled because the road was (or... is still) blocked. Pfffffff.....
On last friday, one of the busiest streets in Jakarta were blocked from 9.00 - 13.00 (yes my friends, in busy hours too!!) because one open truck or trailer or whatever the name is, was parked on the street. Thought it was another demonstration but later I knew that the truck was parked there to be used as a "party stage" for a political party to celebrate something... Man, this is getting out of hand... People has business too! Please deh....
Jakarta is well known of the traffic, but yet I still remember where I can go anywhere with bicycle, very convenient. It was long long time ago, but I was already born and fyi, I am not too old yet! :) I miss my used-to-be Jakarta...
